About Lyfe Three, Inc.
Founded in 2010, Lyfe Three was established with a vision of creating safe, engaging, and empowering environments where young people can develop academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively. Through a culturally responsive framework, we help students build confidence, strengthen character, and discover their unique potential.
Today, Lyfe Three serves students and families throughout Craven County and surrounding communities through afterschool, summer, family engagement, and workforce development programs.
What We Do
Our programs are designed to support the whole child by combining academic intervention with hands-on enrichment experiences. Students participating in Lyfe Three programs have opportunities to:
- Receive homework assistance and academic tutoring
- Improve reading, math, science, and literacy skills
- Participate in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) projects
- Develop social-emotional learning and leadership skills
- Explore culinary arts and nutrition education
- Engage in entrepreneurship and financial literacy activities
- Participate in arts, dance, and creative expression
- Build workforce readiness and career awareness skills
- Engage in community service and cultural enrichment opportunities
Our Impact
Through strong partnerships with schools, families, community organizations, and local businesses, Lyfe Three continues to create meaningful opportunities for youth growth and achievement.
During the 2025–2026 program year, Lyfe Three:
- Served more than 90 students through grant-funded programming
- Expanded transportation services to increase access for families
- Increased family engagement through workshops and community events
- Enhanced workforce development and culinary exploration opportunities
- Provided academic interventions designed to improve student achievement and school success
- Offered safe, structured environments during afterschool and summer hours Lyfe3 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering our community through various programs and initiatives. Our mission is to make a positive impact and create a better future for all.
