Our Team
Lyfe Three, Inc. maintains a team of qualified professionals responsible for program administration, fiscal management, curriculum implementation, student support services, transportation, family engagement, and program evaluation. Staff members participate in ongoing professional development and receive training in youth development best practices, student safety, program compliance requirements, and trauma-informed approaches to supporting youth.
All staff members undergo required background checks and are committed to maintaining a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where students can learn, grow, and succeed.

Tammie Dean, Founder and Program Director
Tammie Dean is a passionate advocate for youth development and community empowerment. With more than 18 years of experience in Intensive Alternative Family Treatment (IAFT) and extensive leadership in afterschool program administration, Tammie has dedicated her life to creating safe, nurturing spaces where children can thrive. Since founding Lyfe Three, Inc. in 2010, Tammie has led the organization with vision, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to student success. She oversees daily operations, manages grant compliance, develops community partnerships, and continuously works toward program sustainability. Tammie’s background in youth engagement, family treatment, and educational programming has shaped Lyfe Three into a trusted community resource that meets the evolving needs of children and families. Her leadership is grounded in building relationships—with students, parents, schools, and the broader community—ensuring that Lyfe Three, Inc. remains a beacon of opportunity for Craven County youth.
